BECCA ROACH
Brooklyn-based “Bad News Becca” Roach started tattooing after she gained an apprenticeship in 2005, following receiving her BFA in illustration from Pratt Institue in 2004. Her tattooing takes influence from traditional styles of tattooing: Japanese, Polynesian, and traditional sailor styles. Also a painter, her work is influenced by Japanese and Mexican wood block prints, old photos, abandoned places, fireworks, old trucks, and the music she loves.
